Description
This lot comprises an extensive collection of costume jewellery presented within three storage cases. The assortment includes a large multi-tier vanity case with a black faux-crocodile skin effect exterior, featuring four pull-out drawers, an inset mirror to the lid, and a burgundy velvet-lined interior. A second black textured faux-leather jewellery box features a cream-coloured lining, three drawers, and a mirrored lid decorated with a small ballerina figure. The third container is a simple rectangular wooden casket with a hinged lid. The jewellery collection features a variety of necklaces, notably a multi-strand black and silver-tone seed bead piece, multiple strands of faux pearls, and a black faceted bead collar with ribbon ties. Other items include a large black plastic bangle in a mid-century style, various beaded bracelets in turquoise and coral tones, enamel-decorated floral brooches, silver-tone filigree ornaments, and rhinestone-set pieces. The lot also contains a prominent red fabric and feather corsage. Materials used across the collection include base metals, glass, resin, faux pearls, enamel, and textiles.
Condition report:
The collection is in mixed condition consistent with age and previous use. Several jewellery items show signs of tarnishing, surface wear, and tangling. The storage cases exhibit external scuffing and wear to the interior linings. No maker\'s marks were observed during inspection. This lot is sold as seen.
