Description
A lot comprising two thumb pianos of differing styles with assorted accessories. The primary instrument is a modern seventeen-key kalimba with a blue-stained wood body and a central sound hole featuring laser-etched decorative scrollwork. An internal label identifies this as a Model CZ-17, manufactured in China. The second instrument is a circular wooden folk-art kalimba with seven metal tines and a hand-painted dot-art pattern in orange, yellow, and grey around the lower perimeter. The lot is complete with a black, zippered hardshell EVA-style carrying case with a fitted foam interior, a T-shaped metal tuning hammer, an instructional booklet titled Kalimba basiccourse, two silicone finger protectors, two microfibre cleaning cloths, and a sheet of note identification stickers.
Blue kalimba: 18.5 cm x 13.5 cm
Circular kalimba: 14.5 cm diameter
Case: 22.5 cm x 16 cm.
Condition report:
The seventeen-key blue kalimba and its accessories appear to be in excellent, near-mint condition, showing no signs of significant use. The circular folk-art kalimba shows light signs of age and patina to the metal tines. The carrying case and booklet are in good condition.
