Description
This lot comprises two vintage mohair plush animal toys, designed in a naturalistic style attributed to the German manufacturer Steiff. The first figure is a standing mountain goat or ibex, characteristic of the Rocky Capricorn model. It is constructed from light tan mohair with a darker tufted tail and features prominent, curved, segmented horns made of stitched felt. The animal is finished with green glass or plastic eyes and a hand-stitched nose and mouth. The second figure is an owl, likely the Wittie model, featuring a mottled yellow and orange mohair body with darker brown wings and back. The face is detailed with pale felt discs, large green eyes, black tufts on the head, and a felt beak and feet. Neither item retains an original manufacturer’s button, label, or tag.

Owl height: 11.5 cm.
Condition report:
Both items are in good vintage condition with minor age-related wear and thinning to the mohair plush. The colours remain bright and the structural integrity of both pieces is sound. There are no visible repairs or significant damage.
