Lot 110:
Description
A trio of cold-cast bronze resin figurines, each rendered with a dark brown patinated finish. These figures are characteristic of 20th-century British decorative arts and are in the style of makers such as Heredities or Jeanne Rynhart. The first figurine depicts a seated shepherd in a flat cap holding a lamb, with a collie dog at his feet. The second figurine features a seated young child interacting with a dog. The third figurine portrays an elderly seated man wearing a hat and holding a lamb. Each piece is mounted on an integral, textured base designed to resemble natural ground. The casting shows significant detail in the textures of the knitwear, coats, and animal fur.
Height: 13 cm to 19 cm.
Condition report:
All three figurines are in good condition with no visible chips, cracks, or signs of restoration. The bronze-effect patina remains consistent across the set, showing only minor surface wear and light accumulation of dust consistent with age.
