Description
A collection of two decorative wall-hanging items. The first is a mid-20th-century wall clock by Smiths, featuring a nursery rhyme theme. The cream-coloured face is decorated with various nursery rhyme characters, including Humpty Dumpty, Mother Goose, and Little Boy Blue, surrounded by a blue and white lattice-patterned border. The dial features black Arabic numerals and three hands. The clock is marked SMITHS to the centre and MADE IN GT. BRITAIN at the base.
The second item is a circular hammered metal wall plaque with a central millefiori glass inset. The plaque has a wide rim with a brass-coloured finish, while the reverse is copper with an integral hanging bracket. The central glass medallion is created using the millefiori technique, featuring concentric rings of multi-coloured fused glass canes in shades of red, white, blue, yellow, and orange.

Condition report:
The clock shows visible chipping to the enamel finish along the outer rim. General surface wear, including light scratches and marks, is present across the dial. The mechanical movement is untested and sold as seen. The metal plaque exhibits significant tarnish and oxidation to the metal surfaces, particularly on the copper reverse. The millefiori glass medallion appears to be in good condition with no visible cracks or chips.
