Description
An assortment of varied vintage collectibles and curiosities presented on an oval, silver-toned filigree metal tray with decorative feet. The collection features a miniature cricket bat inscribed William Gunn, Autograph, 1936-7, Australia – England. Included are Russian matryoshka nesting dolls depicting traditional figures and a small brass-cased clock under a transparent dome. Optical and hobbyist items comprise a cream plastic stereoscopic viewer, magnifying glasses with metal frames, and a colourful illustrated kaleidoscope tube. Equestrian and grooming accessories include a boxed Mane Puller by GLOBAL World Wide Equestrian Products and a Home Barber boxed set. Additional items feature a wooden darning mushroom, a religious-themed painted wooden egg, a green malachite-style stone carving, and a small brass plaque with a horse’s head motif. Functional objects include a liquid-filled compass with a red cord, a metal letter opener with a black scabbard, a wall-mounted scoring board with numeric increments from 0 to 60, and a green and gold pen. Several wooden rulers are present, including a folding ruler marked Made in England and The Singer Manufacturing Company.

Condition report:
The items exhibit varying degrees of age-related wear. The cardboard packaging for the mane puller and barber set shows significant crushing and tearing. Surface tarnishing is visible on the silver-toned tray and other metal components. Minor paint loss and scuffing are present on the nesting dolls and painted egg. The stereoscopic viewer and magnifying glasses show light surface scratches consistent with use.
