Description
An assortment of antique and vintage decorative objects and collectibles. The collection is led by a large wooden stave-built tub featuring integral handles and a metal reinforcement band. Included is a mantel clock with a rectangular metal case and a white dial featuring Roman numerals. A portrait miniature of oval form depicts a gentleman in early 19th-century attire, set within a gilt-metal frame under glass. The lot also contains a long, ornately turned decorative smoking pipe with multi-coloured sections and a carved bowl. A rectangular wooden box with carved foliate decoration is present. A Dunlop tyre pressure gauge No. 6, calibrated for 6-50 lbs, is housed in its original yellow cylindrical storage tube. Additional items include a small black leather-bound book titled Hymns A&M, two carved and painted wooden totem pole figurines, and a circular metal souvenir dish for Cyprus marked The Island of Venus. The collection further comprises a brass circular ashtray, a metal hip flask, various small metal tins including a gramophone needle tin marked Loud Tone, and several coins or medallions. A small framed landscape painting and an oval metal dish with an elephant figure are also included.

Condition report:
The items exhibit varying degrees of age-related wear, patina, and surface marks throughout. The wooden tub shows some drying to the timber staves and minor surface grime. The mantel clock has light surface scratches to the case and the movement is untested. The portrait miniature and landscape painting appear in stable condition within their respective frames. The smoking pipe has minor paint loss to the turned decorative sections. The Dunlop gauge tube shows surface wear and soiling. Tins and metalware exhibit varying levels of oxidation and surface patina consistent with age. The book shows light shelf wear and rubbing to the leather binding.
