Description
A group of three Furby electronic interactive toys. The collection comprises two 1998 original series models manufactured by Tiger Electronics and one 2012 series model manufactured by Hasbro. The 1998 examples include one featuring black synthetic fur, white feet, and grey felt inner ears, and a second featuring curly off-white or cream-coloured fur with white feet. These 1998 models are designed with traditional plastic eyes featuring mechanical eyelids and plastic beaks. The 2012 model features bright pink synthetic fur, large translucent pink plastic ears, a heart-shaped sensor on the forehead, and LCD screen eyes. The toys are constructed from synthetic plush fabrics over internal motorised frames with plastic external components. A paper swing tag attached to the cream Furby is marked Tiger Electronics, Ltd. 1998, Vernon Hills, IL. The pink Furby features a woven fabric tag with the Furby logo and the word ORIGINAL.
Approximate height: 13 cm to 15 cm.
Condition report:
The items are in used, play-worn condition. There is visible matting and light discolouration to the fur of the cream-coloured model. The black model is currently positioned with eyes closed. All items are offered in an untested condition regarding electronic and motorised functionality. No original packaging or boxes are present.
