Description
A diverse collection of 20th-century philatelic material, primarily focused on the United Kingdom. The lot includes various commemorative and definitive issues. Notable items include a presentation pack for the 25th Anniversary of the Investiture of HRH the Prince of Wales (1994) featuring a strip of four stamps, and a Post Office first day cover for The Story of Wedgwood (1972) containing a block of stamps. Other visible first day covers include the Modern University Buildings issue (1971) and the Regional Decimal Definitive Issue for Wales. The collection contains multiple commercial and philatelic covers with various cancellations, including circular date stamps (CDS), with one example dated 13 January 1994. An open stockbook or album displays a range of individual hinged stamps, including various Machin head definitives and commemorative designs in multiple colours and denominations. The assembly is housed in a white plastic basket, several binders, and loose folders. The material comprises both mint and used examples.

Presentation packs appear to be in their original protective sleeves. Stamps in the album are hinged to pages; some pages show slight yellowing.
