Description
An assortment of vintage household items and collectibles. The lot includes a three-arm Egyptian Revival style candelabra with figural carvings and a scarab motif. A heavily oxidised metal hurricane lantern with a glass globe is present along with a white ceramic plate bearing a backstamp marked MONACO beneath a crown crest. The collection contains multiple lighters, comprising a table lighter with an onyx base and a gold-toned pocket lighter. Several pairs of cufflinks are present in original presentation boxes, including one set in a box marked M&S EST 1884. A green box contains a large quantity of metal uniform or livery buttons in brass and silver-toned finishes. Additional items include a Dimple Old Blended Scotch Whisky pinch bottle, a red leather wallet, several carded pin badges, a small pen in a plastic case, and a set of pencils.
Condition report:
The items exhibit varying degrees of age-related wear. The hurricane lantern shows significant surface oxidation and rust throughout the metal frame. Metallic objects display general surface patination and tarnishing. The ceramic plate and glass bottle appear intact. Cardboard components for the pin badges show creasing and wear. The candelabra shows surface residue within the candle cups.
