Description
Three British-made metal whistles. One is a The Metropolitan model by J. Hudson and Co, Birmingham, attached to a metal chain; the remaining two are marked The Acme City, one featuring a rounded top and the other a flat rectangular loop. The whistles are constructed from plated brass and bear stamped maker’s marks and place of manufacture.
Condition report:
The metal whistles show significant wear to the original nickel or chrome plating, revealing the underlying brass, and possess some surface oxidation.
