Description
A vintage Raleigh Compact folding bicycle featuring a step-through steel frame finished in cream paint. The frame tubes are adorned with orange and brown decals including the manufacturer name Raleigh and the model name Compact. The bicycle is equipped with small-diameter wheels fitted with cream sidewall tyres, front and rear mudguards, and a rear-mounted luggage rack. The assembly includes white handlebar grips and a white vinyl-covered saddle. The frame incorporates a central folding hinge and quick-release mechanism for compact storage.
Condition report:
The item is in an unrestored, used condition. Surface rust and pitting are visible on the steel frame, folding hinges, and chrome-plated components, including the handlebars and wheel rims. The white vinyl saddle is compromised by a large tear exposing the internal padding. The tyres and grips show signs of perishing and general wear consistent with age and long-term storage.
