Description

A vintage piano accordion manufactured by the French company Paul Beuscher, Paris. This Dynamic model features a black celluloid casing embellished with diamante-style rhinestone studs along the edges. The front is fitted with a silver-toned metal grill featuring the maker’s name in applied script and a rectangular badge reading DYNAMIC. The right-hand piano-style keyboard includes several keys fitted with circular button indicators labelled with alphanumeric characters, including 1A, 1B, 4, 3B, 3A, 2N, and BA. The left-hand side features a standard multi-button bass system. A metal plate on the side of the casing is embossed with the name GEORGES HASDENTEUFEL, identifying a connection to the noted French accordionist and educator. The construction includes a celluloid and plastic body, metal components, fabric-lined bellows, and leather straps. A contemporary auction sticker for lot 109 is adhered to the top casing.

Condition report:

The accordion is in used vintage condition with visible signs of wear. The leather shoulder and hand straps are in poor condition, appearing brittle and heavily delaminated with some sections broken. The exterior casing shows general surface scuffs, scratches, and accumulated dust. While the bellows appear physically intact, the instrument has not been tested for air-tightness, internal reed condition, or functional playability.
