Description
A collection of five miniature non-functional decorative replica firearms, each designed in the style of various 18th-century flintlock pistols. The models are manufactured from cast metal with a two-tone gunmetal-grey and brass-coloured finish. The grips are composed of a moulded black textured material. The set is presented in a dark-stained wooden shadow box frame with a red felt-lined interior. Below each pistol is a brass-toned plaque inscribed in Spanish identifying the type: Pistola Pirata (Pirate Pistol), Pistola de Codillo (Elbow Pistol), Trabuco Oriental de Pistola (Oriental Blunderbuss Pistol), Pistola Mosquetero (Musketeer Pistol), and Pistola de dos Cañones (Double-Barrel Pistol). The barrels are stamped with the mark MADE IN SPAIN.
Frame: 15.5 inches x 9.5 inches.
Condition report:
The miniature pistols and interior display are in good condition. The wooden frame shows minor surface abrasions and light wear commensurate with age and handling.
