Description
A Victorian hand-blown glass paperweight, traditionally known as a green glass dump. The object is made from heavy translucent green bottle glass and contains a decorative arrangement of controlled air bubbles rising in a fountain formation from the base. The underside exhibits a rough, snapped-off pontil mark indicative of hand-blown production.
Height: approximately 7.5 cm
Diameter: approximately 7.5 cm.
Condition report:
The paperweight is in good condition with no visible chips or cracks. There is light surface wear and minor scratching consistent with age. The base has a rough, unground pontil mark as manufactured.
