Description
A pair of collectibles themed around the Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons television series. The first item is a Spectrum Command Team miniature vehicle set produced by Vivid Imaginations, product number 51006. The set contains five vehicles manufactured from die-cast metal and plastic, including a blue Spectrum Pursuit Vehicle (SPV), a red Spectrum Patrol Car (SPC), and three Angel Interceptor aircraft. The aircraft include two white versions and one with blue and red livery. The vehicles are housed in their original blue plastic tray and pictorial cardboard box, which bears the series logo and the slogan S.I.G…… Spectrum Is Green!. The box carries a copyright date of 1993 ITC Entertainment Group Ltd. The second item is a 100-piece cardboard jigsaw puzzle manufactured by Ravensburger and licensed by Carlton. The puzzle is contained within its original pictorial box featuring a montage of characters and vehicles from the series, including Captain Scarlet and Captain Blue.
Condition report:
The vehicles in the Spectrum Command Team set appear to be in good condition within the internal tray. The outer cardboard box shows signs of wear, including scuffing to the edges and corners, and some light creasing consistent with age. The jigsaw puzzle box exhibits surface scuffing and edge wear, and features a circular price sticker on the front top right corner. The completeness of the puzzle pieces has not been verified.
