Description
This lot consists of two limited edition bobblehead figures from the Classic Comedy Headliners XL series and one novelty work trophy. The bobblehead figures, produced by Equity Marketing, Inc. for C3 Entertainment, Inc. in 2000, depict Curly Howard and Moe Howard from The Three Stooges. Both characters are rendered in black and white striped prisoner uniforms. Each bobblehead is housed in its original window display box, which includes an integrated Certificate of Authenticity on the reverse. The Curly Howard figure is numbered 01000 of 20,000, and the Moe Howard figure is numbered 01106 of 20,000. The reverse of the boxes identifies the manufacturer as Equity Marketing, Inc., Los Angeles, CA, and carries the copyright 2000 C3 Entertainment, Inc.
The third item is a Loncraine Broxton Work Trophies novelty award titled Control Freak of the Year Award. The award features a gold-tone plastic trophy cup mounted on a black base, presented in its original yellow and clear plastic retail packaging.
Bobblehead boxes: Height approx. 24.1 cm (9.5 inches)
Trophy box: Height approx. 14 cm (5.5 inches).
Condition report:
All items remain in their original retail packaging. The bobblehead boxes exhibit moderate shelf wear, including corner bumping, surface scuffing, and some crushing/distortion, most notably to the Curly Howard box. The novelty trophy box shows minor surface wear. The figures and the trophy themselves appear to be in good, unused condition within their respective packaging.
