Description
A collection of vintage and modern writing instruments and associated accessories, primarily manufactured by Paper Mate. The assembly includes a Paper Mate Holiday ballpoint pen featuring a lime green plastic barrel with gold-tone star motifs and a metal cap. A Paper Mate Slimline ballpoint pen is present, with a red plastic lower barrel and brushed metal upper section, housed in a clear branded case marked Made in U.S.A. The group further contains a sky blue Paper Mate ballpoint pen in a grey and white plastic tray, alongside a pair of all-metal Paper Mate ballpoint pens in gold-tone and silver-tone finishes, both featuring the signature double-heart clip logo. Also included is a modern capped ballpoint or rollerball pen with a black lacquer barrel and gold-tone trim, presented in a box with a red handwritten inscription reading A PRESENT FROM LACKRMIDRA . OCT 2024. Complementing the pens is an unused Parker ballpoint refill, Extra Fine point in blue ink, in original blister packaging, and a Paper Mate Lifetime Guarantee certificate referencing Isleworth, Middlesex.

Condition report:
The Paper Mate Holiday pen shows significant pitting and corrosion to the metal cap and star decals. The Slimline and blue pens are in good vintage condition with light surface wear. The pair of metal pens shows minor surface scratching consistent with use. The modern black pen appears unused. Associated boxes and cases show various signs of age-related wear, staining, and interior marking. The Parker refill is in original sealed packaging.
