A collection of UK dodecagonal nickel-brass threepence coins. The group features specimens from the reigns of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth II, all representing the crowned portcullis reverse type. Visible obverse legends include GEORGIVS VI D:G:BR:OMN:REX and ELIZABETH II DEI GRATIA REGINA F:D:. The collection contains mid-20th-century dates, with a 1943 specimen clearly identified. The coins are struck in a nickel-brass alloy and feature a distinctive twelve-sided edge.
Condition report:
