Description
A collection of UK pre-decimal bronze coins primarily comprising pennies and halfpennies from the 20th century. The assembly includes coins featuring the obverse portraits of King George V and Queen Elizabeth II (young head effigy). Visible legends include GEORGIVS V DEI GRA: BRITT: OMN: REX FID: DEF: IND: IMP: and ELIZABETH II DEI GRATIA REGINA F.D. Reverse designs feature the seated figure of Britannia with the denomination ONE PENNY. The coins are housed in a rectangular wooden storage box with an inlaid light wood spiral motif to the centre of the lid and a red velvet-lined interior.

Condition report:
The coins are in circulated condition, showing significant surface wear, dark toning, and instances of surface oxidation and verdigris. The wooden box displays minor surface abrasions and light scratches consistent with age and use.
