Description
A varied collection of vintage decorative objects, trinket boxes, and miniatures presented in two containers with several loose items. The lot includes a rectangular wooden hinged box, likely olive wood, housing multiple porcelain and metal boxes. One base is marked for The Queen Mother Fine Bone China Made in England with a Royal mark, and another bears a Museum Collection mark. A lithographed tin box with a gold-toned interior and a pastoral stag motif contains a heart-shaped porcelain box depicting a couple, a silver-toned metal napkin ring with banded decoration, a miniature ceramic pitcher, and various small figurines. A small grey figure is identified by a Wade black and gold sticker. Loose items comprise a large brown glazed ceramic standing horse figurine in the style of Beswick, a group of three ceramic military figurines in red uniforms with a cannon reminiscent of Wade Red Rose Tea miniatures, a small metal horse figurine, and two weathered metal keyhole escutcheons. The collection also includes an ornate rectangular silver-toned metal box with embossed foliate scrollwork and a vacant central cartouche.
