Description
A mid-20th-century tubular chrome-plated badge bar fitted with a collection of motoring and regional badges. The collection includes a die-cast Automobile Association member’s badge featuring a yellow background and winged motif at the crest, stamped with the serial number 4A35677 on the lower plinth. Also included are circular chrome-framed enamel badges for the towns of Torquay and Bournemouth, both displaying their respective coats of arms. A square chrome-framed badge for the Caravan Club features a central green and black logo with a red CC pennant. A square RAC Recovery badge contains a plastic insert depicting the RAC logo and a hand holding a vehicle. A triangular V-shaped badge shows a crown above a blue circle containing the number 67. The badge bar is constructed from tubular metal with two mounting brackets and threaded bolts.

Condition report:
The badge bar and mounting brackets show significant pitting, surface oxidation, and wear to the chrome finish. The Automobile Association badge exhibits loss of yellow paint and general surface oxidation. The enamel badges for Torquay and Bournemouth show minor surface scratching but remain largely intact. The RAC Recovery badge has yellowing and internal crazing to the plastic insert. Mounting hardware is heavily oxidised.
