Description
This collection of lawn bowling equipment comprises several black composite bowls, two carrying cases, and a rubber bowling mat. The bowls feature distinct markings and inlays: two bowls are stamped with C B B S Co. and serial number C 6 3 9 6, featuring multicoloured red, blue, and yellow circular inlays marked with the initials R.S. Two bowls feature solid orange circular inlays marked with the initials O K H. A fifth bowl is marked Drakes Pride and features a white circular inlay. The set includes a vintage tan leatherette cylindrical carrying case fitted with two dark brown leather buckle straps and a top handle. Also included is a blue fabric zip-up bag bearing the Drakes Pride logo and an illustration of a historical figure. The collection is completed by a circular black rubber bowling mat with a textured surface of concentric rings.
Condition report:
The items show signs of age and regular play. The bowls exhibit surface scuffs and minor scratches throughout. The tan leatherette bag shows significant wear and cracking to the leather straps, with some surface marks to the body. The blue fabric bag appears dusty with some fading to the printed logo.
