Description
This lot comprises a collection of eight vintage comic books, primarily featuring the Judge Dredd character, alongside two Marvel Comics issues. The collection includes Judge Dredd issue 39 and issue 40 published by Fleetway Quality, with issue 40 showcasing a distinctive facial close-up. Also present is Judge Dredd issue 28 from Eagle Comics featuring Megaman. The collection contains Judge Dredd The Megazine, Volume 2, Number 5, dated May 1992, which advertises a free poster inside. Two issues of The Law of Dredd are included: issue 10, which bears the signature of artist Carlos Ezquerra, and issue 9, with cover art by Henry Flint. Representing Marvel Comics are Marvel Comics Presents issue 66, featuring Wolverine and Ghost Rider with art by Sam Kieth, and The Spectacular Spider-Man issue 238 from September 1996. Condition report:
The comic books are ungraded and housed in individual protective plastic polybags. Based on visual inspection, the covers retain vibrant colour with minor shelf wear and some light stress lines visible along the spines. Minor edge wear is present on several issues, notably The Spectacular Spider-Man issue 238. The protective bags show some creasing and dust. Internal pages likely exhibit standard age-related toning.
