Several 1981 crowns are housed in their original bank-issued card folders, with visible inscriptions for Midland Bank and National Westminster Bank Limited. The majority of the coins are of cupro-nickel composition and are preserved in individual plastic pouches. Accompanying the coins is a circular silver-coloured decorative tray featuring a pierced openwork gallery rim and a polished reflective centre. No maker’s marks or hallmarks are visible on the tray in the provided images.
Tray diameter: 18 cm
Coin diameter: 38.61 mm.
Condition report:
The coins generally appear in uncirculated condition, showing bright surfaces with occasional minor natural toning and light handling marks consistent with being stored in pouches and card folders. The bank-issued folders and plastic pouches show light wear and some creasing. The decorative tray exhibits surface scratches and minor tarnish commensurate with age and use.
