Description
A collection of seven assorted Asian decorative and collectible items, including ceramics, enamelware, and carvings. The lot features a Satsuma style earthenware bottle vase with a bulbous body and elongated neck, decorated with a crackle glaze and polychrome enamels. The decoration depicts a continuous scene of figures in traditional dress within a landscape and architectural setting, complemented by floral sprays and raised moriage enamel work on the neck. A square Canton enamel dish with indented corners displays a hand-painted central scene of figures in a landscape with a blue-peaked mountain, set against a yellow-ground border with floral motifs. The underside is finished in light blue enamel with a four-character vertical mark in dark pigment, of which the third character is transcribed as 年 and the fourth as 製. Also included is a pair of Baoding health balls with an iridescent rainbow finish, housed in a fabric-covered presentation box with a floral pattern and red-lined interior. The collection includes two carved reddish-brown hardwood figures: a standing figure in a wide-brimmed hat holding a staff and a seated sage figure. Completing the lot are a small composite carving of a cluster of fish with detailed scales and a glazed porcelain figurine of a kneeling geisha in a green floral-patterned kimono.

Condition report:
The collection shows varying states of wear. The Canton enamel dish has significant losses and chipping, particularly to the corners and edges. The Satsuma vase displays minor wear to the gilding and surface dust consistent with age. The carved wooden figures and the porcelain figurine are in generally good condition. The presentation box for the Baoding balls shows external wear and fading to the fabric.
