Description
Produced by Commemorative Heritage Ltd, this collection commemorates the centenary of Sir Winston Churchill (1874-1974). The items are housed in a brown textured presentation case featuring a gilt-stamped Churchill family coat of arms and the dates 1874 and 1974 on the lid. The set comprises a series of philatelic first day covers from various British Commonwealth countries and territories. Identified covers include those from Great Britain, Isle of Man, Gibraltar, Falkland Islands, Tristan da Cunha, The Gambia, Gilbert and Ellice Islands, St. Lucia, Montserrat, Pitcairn, Turks and Caicos, Cayman Islands, and Seychelles. Each cover displays commemorative stamps with depictions of Sir Winston Churchill and themed cachet illustrations. All covers feature official First Day of Issue postmarks, the majority of which are dated 30 November 1974. The collection is accompanied by a descriptive informational insert printed with historical details and information regarding the issuance.

The collection is in good overall condition. The presentation box exhibits minor surface wear and light scuffing to the edges consistent with age. The interior covers and stamps appear well-preserved with no significant visible foxing or discolouration.
