Description
A commemorative vehicle grille badge produced for the MG Car Club 70th anniversary, marking the period from 1930 to 2000. The shield-shaped badge is manufactured from chrome-plated metal featuring hard enamel decoration in cream and maroon. The design incorporates a central octagonal MG logo flanked by diagonal bands inscribed 1930 and 2000. The top edge is marked 70 YEARS and the lower border is inscribed CAR CLUB. The reverse side features an embossed oval maker mark for Gaunt Birmingham. The badge is supplied with its original mounting hardware, consisting of two brass threaded bolts, washers, and nuts, housed in a small plastic bag. The item is presented in a plain cardboard box with tissue paper.

Condition report:
The badge is in excellent, potentially unused condition. The chrome plating is bright and highly reflective, showing no evidence of pitting or surface corrosion. The enamel surfaces are intact and smooth, with no chips, cracks, or significant scratches. The original mounting hardware is present and appears to be in new condition. The cardboard box shows light storage wear.
