Description
A pair of Harry Potter themed collectibles. The first item is a die-cast metal and plastic model of the Hogwarts Express locomotive and tender manufactured by Corgi International. The model is finished in a red and black livery with gold-tone detailing and is housed in its original retail window box featuring the Harry Potter logo and the Corgi canine emblem. The second item is a battery-operated animated Sorting Hat electronic toy distributed by Universal Parks and Resorts. This authentic replica is constructed from brown suedette-effect fabric over an internal mechanical frame. The hat features sound and movement mechanisms activated by a button on the brim. It is contained within its original retail window box which includes Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. and Wizarding World trademarks.
The larger box measures approximately 15 inches in height.
Condition report:
Both items are in their original retail packaging. The Corgi train box displays shelf wear, specifically a crease and slight tearing around the cardboard hanging tab. The model itself appears unused. The Universal Studios Sorting Hat box shows moderate shelf wear, including rubbing to the edges, small scuffs, and minor crushing to the cardboard corners. The hat appears complete and unused; however, the battery-operated electronic and mechanical functions have not been tested.
