Description
A vintage wooden shoe shine valet box of rectangular construction, featuring an integrated angled footrest with a serrated wooden grip on the hinged lid. The box is assembled with finger-jointed corners and stands on four low wooden feet. It is secured by a metal front hasp latch. The interior contains an assortment of shoe care maintenance equipment, including several wooden-backed brushes with natural and dark bristles, a brown vinyl storage pouch embossed with Shoe Shine in gold-toned lettering, and multiple tins of polish, including a specimen marked CHERRY. The wooden surfaces show a clear varnish finish over a natural grain. A partial ruler is visible in the provided images for scale.
