Description
A mixed collection of traditional educational tools, board games, and optical toys. The lot features a large wooden-framed abacus, resembling the work of Brio, with ten wire rails and multi-coloured plastic beads in white, yellow, red, blue, and green. A Japanese Toiya Soroban abacus is included in its original cardboard box, along with a miniature Chinese abacus of brass-toned metal construction on a green hardstone base, housed in its original box. The board games consist of a Mattel Scrabble Original set in a green box (Ref: 51263) and a vintage set of dominoes in a light blue box. Optical toys comprise two cardboard tube kaleidoscopes, including a Disney Mickey’s Magic Kaleidoscope and one with a multi-coloured geometric motif. Additional items include a wooden folding chessboard box, a wooden cribbage board with perforated lid, a small dark-stained wooden box with a white metal Ace of Spades inlay, a box of Piatnik playing cards, a green textured hinged box, and a clear bag containing several red and white plastic dice. Other small storage and packaging boxes are also present.

Condition report:
The items are in varied condition. The larger wooden abacus and Scrabble game appear in good overall condition. Several cardboard boxes, notably for the Toiya Soroban and dominoes, show edge wear, creasing, and shelf-related scuffing. The folding wooden chess box has significant structural damage and has been repaired with adhesive tape. Some wooden items show minor surface wear and patina consistent with age and use. Completeness of games and sets has not been verified. Sold as seen.
