Description
This collection consists of six vintage wristwatches of varied designs, featuring primarily gold-toned finishes and mechanical movements.
The first item is a Sekonda rectangular dress watch with a gold-toned dial and baton markers. It is powered by a 17-jewel manual wind movement and features an integrated textured gold-toned mesh bracelet.
The second item is a Swiss-made Origia round wristwatch with a silvered dial and gold-toned baton markers. The dial is marked 17 Jewels and Incabloc. It is fitted with a gold-toned expansion band.
The third item is a Bulova tonneau-shaped wristwatch with a white dial featuring Arabic and baton markers. The dial is marked 23 Jewels. It is mounted on a narrow gold-toned expansion band.
The fourth item is a Sekonda round wristwatch with a gold-toned dial and Roman numeral markers, fitted with an integrated fine mesh gold-toned bracelet.
The fifth item is a Sekonda round wristwatch case without a strap. The silvered dial features baton markers and a day-date window at the 3 o’clock position, marked 21 Jewels.
The sixth item is a Montine of Switzerland cushion-cased wristwatch case without a strap. The gold-toned dial features baton markers and a date window at the 3 o’clock position. The dial is marked 25 Jewels, Incabloc, and Automatic.
Case sizes range approximately from 18mm to 36mm in diameter.
Condition report:
All items show signs of age and significant wear consistent with regular use. There is noticeable plating loss and rubbing to the gold-toned finishes on the cases and bracelets, particularly on the Origia and Montine models. The crystals exhibit various degrees of surface scratching, with the Origia crystal being heavily abraded. Dials show some patination and minor discoloration. Two watches are missing their original straps or bracelets. All movements are sold as untested and the lot is offered for parts or restoration.
