Description
A collection of thirteen British and international military and naval wall trophy plaques, predominantly featuring units of the British Army and Royal Navy, with several examples related to the Cold War era British presence in Berlin. The collection includes a large HMS Triumph ship’s badge mounted on a black wooden shield with an Admiralty-pattern cast resin or metal insignia. Military units represented include the 1st Battalion The Royal Green Jackets, 7 Battalion Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (REME), the Army Catering Corps (ACC), and The King’s Regiment.
Notable Cold War Berlin memorabilia includes a British Military Hospital (BMH) Berlin plaque featuring a sector map and unit badges, and a Berlin Army Support Command (BASC) plaque showing the flags of the four occupying powers. Further items include a circular Seaforth Highlanders badge mounted on MacKenzie tartan, a mirrored shield featuring the Parachute Regiment Pegasus and other miniature crests, a Royal Corps of Transport (RCT) shield dated 1991, and a German 706 Schweres Pionierregiment shield. The group is completed by two shields featuring civic or unit heraldry including an anchor and lions with fleur-de-lis.

Condition report:
Mixed condition across the collection. The 706 Schweres Pionierregiment shield shows significant scuffing and scratches to the wood and base plaque. The HMS Triumph badge exhibits minor paint loss to the laurel wreath and crown. General surface dust, light scratches, and minor edge wear are present on several wooden mounts. The mirrored surface shows light marking.
