Description
This lot comprises a diverse collection of 13 vintage powder compacts and one lipstick mirror accessory, primarily of British manufacture. The group includes notable collaborations between Stratton and Josiah Wedgwood & Sons Ltd, alongside examples by Danielle Creations and other unnamed makers.
The collection features:
A Stratton Silver Jubilee ‘Convertible’ compact for solid make-up, featuring a silver-plated case and a blue Jasperware cameo lid by Josiah Wedgwood & Sons Ltd. The cameo depicts a profile portrait of HM Queen Elizabeth II with a banner inscribed 1952 HM QUEEN ELIZABETH II SILVER JUBILEE 1977. Internal labels indicate the silver-plated construction and the Wedgwood origin.
A Stratton gilt-metal scalloped-edge compact with a light blue Jasperware lid featuring a white bas-relief classical scene of three figures.

Condition report:
The collection is in overall good vintage condition. Most metal components show minor surface wear, light scratches, and oxidation consistent with age and use. The mirror of the Silver Jubilee compact shows minor desilvering and foxing at the base. The presentation boxes show light shelf wear. All internal mechanisms appear functional.
