Description
A vintage figural terracotta smoking pipe by Renzo Ricciardi of Santo Stefano di Camastra. The bowl is hand-sculpted in the form of a male head wearing a traditional flat cap. The pipe features a natural bark-covered wooden stem. A red composition seal is applied to the terracotta shank, depicting a crown symbol above the initials RR in a rectangular frame. The item is accompanied by its original cardboard box and a printed biographical insert in Italian, detailing the artist’s training at the Istituto d’Arte in Santo Stefano di Camastra and the Accademia di Belle Arti in Florence.

Condition report:
The terracotta bowl shows minor surface wear and residue consistent with age and use. The natural bark stem is intact. The original cardboard packaging is in poor condition, exhibiting significant tears, yellowing, and old tape repairs. The biographical insert is tanned with light creasing.
