Description
A group of various decorative boxes and a marquetry panel constructed from wood, metal, and leatherette. The group includes a rectangular wooden marquetry panel featuring a mountain landscape with Araucaria (monkey puzzle) trees within a geometric marquetry border. Several hand-carved wooden boxes with floral and mandala motifs are present. A hexagonal box with a burr wood veneer lid is included, alongside a polished wooden chest fitted with decorative metal strap hinges and a latch. The collection also features a long wooden box with pierced floral fretwork, a small metal box with a relief-embossed lid, and a black leatherette-covered case. A small rectangular wooden box at the front left is incised with the lettering ISRAEL on one side.

Marquetry panel width: approximately 30 cm.
Condition report:
The collection shows general signs of age and use throughout. There are surface scuffs, scratches, and minor indentations across the wooden surfaces. The metal hardware on the chest and small boxes exhibits oxidation and some wear to the finishes. The leatherette case shows light surface rubbing. Marquetry and carved details remain largely intact with minor surface wear consistent with age.
