Description
A group of vintage numismatic accessories and a large promotional medal. The primary item is a large bronze-toned advertising medal for Bodden and Dechy of Brussels, Belgium. The obverse features a sower figure with the inscription SEMENT POUR LES BONNES VENTES. The reverse is inscribed with the company logo BD within a leaf border, the text Agents-Conseils en Publicité, and the address 65-67 RUE DU LOMBARD – BRUXELLES. The collection includes a silver-toned metal coin purse with a frame featuring chased foliate and floral scrollwork, fitted with a chain handle and finger ring. The interior contains a blue fabric concertina-style divider. A smaller brass-toned coin purse is also included, featuring a hammered texture, fine chain handle with finger ring, and dark fabric lining. Completing the lot is a circular amber-coloured resin paperweight containing three UK pre-decimal coins: a 1967 or 1968 One Penny, a Halfpenny, and a 12-sided Threepence.

Condition report:
The Bodden and Dechy medal exhibits significant surface toning, several oxidation spots, and minor edge wear. The silver-toned purse shows small indentations to the frame near the hinge and general tarnish; the blue fabric lining shows typical age-related wear. The brass-toned purse is tarnished with wear to the internal lining. The resin paperweight displays various surface scratches and characteristic age-related yellowing.
