Description
A collection of miscellaneous ceramic items comprising commemorative, decorative, and functional pieces. Included is a Royal Albert bone china tea cup and saucer in the Trillium pattern from the Provincial Flowers series, decorated with white floral transfers and finished with gilded rims. A Hornsea Pottery mantle clock features a green glazed earthenware case with an arched top, a white dial with Roman numerals, and a gold-tone bezel; the underside is marked with a gold Hornsea backstamp. The lot further includes a Laurel and Hardy commemorative earthenware plate featuring a black and white transfer-printed scene titled Another Fine Mess and a ribbed, scalloped rim. Additionally, there is a tall, slender red and cream glazed earthenware bud vase with a foliate pattern, an oval porcelain souvenir dish with an orange lustre interior and a blue tit motif inscribed A present from…, and a small circular porcelain pin dish with a deep blue ground and bird decoration.

Condition report:
The red and cream bud vase is in poor condition, exhibiting significant glaze loss and flaking at the rim along with heavy crazing. The Hornsea clock case is in good condition, although the quartz movement remains untested. The Royal Albert cup and saucer, the commemorative plate, and the small dishes appear to be in good condition with no visible damage or significant wear.
