Description
An assortment of vintage and antique collectibles comprising advertising pieces, musical instruments, and decorative metalwares. The lot includes a large Bensons Unrivalled Toffees lithographed confectionery tin from Bensons (Confectionery) Ltd Bury, containing various small items such as a Harrison’s Reliable Pomade tin. Two wooden cribbage boards are present, one featuring advertising for Wills’s Golden Virginia tobacco with the text A Blend of Virginia and Other Choice Tobaccos. Musical instruments include two German-made M. Hohner harmonicas, with one marked as The Echo Harp. Metalwares consist of a silver-plated fluted bowl, a silver-plated butter dish with a pheasant-form finial, a leather-bound hip flask with a captive lid, and a polished metal card case engraved with Masonic details: Bro. Kevin L. Bevan, St. Catherine 1377, 1977. Decorative items include a metal model of the ship Nina, a polished purple stone egg, a black lacquer egg with gold floral decoration, a small trophy featuring a ship’s wheel, and a ceramic teapot-form watch or photograph holder. Also included is a wooden yardstick marked Singer England.

Condition report:
Items exhibit varying degrees of age-related wear. Metal components show significant tarnishing and surface oxidation, particularly the silver-plated bowl and butter dish. Advertising tins and wooden surfaces display scuffing, scratches, and areas of paint loss. The leather binding on the flask shows surface wear and minor indentation.
