Description
A collection of sixteen pocket watches comprising a variety of vintage mechanical and modern quartz timepieces. The group includes one boxed example from The Heritage Collection featuring a skeletonised moon-phase style dial and silver-tone case. Notable branded pieces include an Elgin open-faced watch with a white dial, Roman numerals, and sub-seconds dial; two Smiths watches with Arabic numerals and sub-seconds dials; a Sekonda 19 jewels mechanical watch; and an Ingersoll Triumph with a two-tone black and cream dial. The assortment features various case finishes including silver-tone, gold-tone, copper-tone, and gunmetal grey base metals. Several hunter-case watches display decorative relief work depicting equestrian fox hunting scenes, a stag, and ducks in flight, alongside a printed kingfisher motif. One modern piece is distinguished by a case fully set with clear pavé-set rhinestones. Hunter-case watches include examples marked Revel and Portland. Modern pieces are typically marked with quartz or Japan movements on the dials.

Condition report:
The collection is in mixed condition. Vintage mechanical watches, particularly the Elgin and Ingersoll examples, exhibit significant age-related wear including foxing and yellowing to the dials and surface scratching to the cases. Modern quartz timepieces and the boxed Heritage Collection watch are in good cosmetic condition. All items are sold as-is; mechanical movements have not been tested for accuracy or functionality, and quartz movements may require battery replacement.
