Description
This collection comprises a variety of vintage decorative objects and memorabilia housed within a hardwood chest. The chest features brass corner reinforcements and a central brass anchor inlay on the lid. The assortment includes a pair of blue glazed ceramic TARDIS salt and pepper shakers with Police Public Call Box signage, a circular porcelain plaque with a silhouette portrait of Johannes Brahms and script signature, and a heavy rectangular glass paperweight for The Belfast Ropework Company Limited featuring an anchor logo. Metal items include a pair of white metal fighting cockerel figurines, a miniature brass-toned miner’s lamp bearing the Prince of Wales feathers, a white metal figurine of a man operating a hand-press, and a cast metal piece inscribed with the text of reddest stolen cherries. Also included are a carved stone lighthouse figurine, a metal horse figurine mounted on a wooden plinth, a black lacquer rocker blotter decorated with hand-painted polychrome flowers, and a small cardboard Funny Dogs box. Further items include a faceted glass shaker with a perforated lid, a white footed ceramic vessel, a silver-toned spoon, and a leather-cased item.

Condition report:
The items are in varied condition consistent with age and use. The metal figurines show signs of surface oxidation and wear, specifically the fighting cockerels and the horse figurine which shows losses to the patinated finish. The TARDIS shakers and Brahms plaque appear to be in good visual condition without significant chips or cracks. The glass paperweight exhibits minor surface scratching. The wooden chest shows surface scuffs and minor patina. The cardboard box shows yellowing and wear to the edges.
