Description
An assortment of sewing tools and haberdashery items housed within a rectangular wooden sewing box and a peach-coloured metal tin. The wooden box is designed with dovetail construction and features a floral tapestry inset lid. The interior contains a variety of vintage accessories including a green painted darning mushroom, metal embroidery scissors, and a yellow flexible tape measure. Branded items present include a blue packet of Milwards needles marked Made in England with a ram’s head logo, Lesley Rapier machine sewing needles, and a packet of Delinla British made Rick Rack trim. A wooden folding ruler branded Singer is also included. The boxes contain multiple thread spools, DMC embroidery floss, decorated ceramic thimbles, and a yellow plastic tray containing various metal sewing machine attachments. The peach-coloured metal tin contains a modern Cross Stitch Kit including multi-coloured embroidery floss, a plastic frame, and instruction booklets.

Condition report:
The collection shows overall signs of use consistent with age. The wooden box and metal tin exhibit minor surface scuffs and light wear to the finishes. The tapestry inset is intact and well-preserved. Vintage packaging for needles and trim shows light wear, creases, and minor discolouration. The metal tools and sewing machine attachments show signs of regular use. The Singer ruler shows typical wear to the edges and markings.
