Description
An assortment of six vintage mechanical wristwatches from various manufacturers, dating from the mid-20th century. The collection includes an Accurist Watermaster with a 21-jewel manual winding movement and champagne sunburst dial; a Timex watch with a gold-tone cushion case and day-date aperture, offered as a watch head only; two Everite watches featuring 17-jewel Incabloc manual winding movements; a Rytime watch with a blue sunburst dial and 17-jewel Incabloc movement in a chrome-plated cushion case; and a Paul Jobin of Switzerland 17-jewel wristwatch. The cases are constructed from gold-tone or chrome-plated base metal with dials featuring baton hour markers and various finishes including champagne, cream, and silvered. Five of the watches are fitted with gold-tone or two-tone expanding metal bracelets, including one with a textured bark-effect pattern. The Rytime watch is fitted with a black textured leather strap.
Case widths range from approximately 30mm to 36mm.
Condition report:
The collection exhibits general age-related wear across all pieces. Notable plating loss is present on the bezels, cases, and metal bracelets. Surface scratches and minor abrasions are visible on the acrylic crystals. The leather strap shows signs of wear and cracking. One watch is offered as a head only without a strap. Mechanical functionality and timekeeping accuracy have not been tested; the watches are sold as seen.
