Description
A vintage Wendy Boston Playsafe golly cloth doll, manufactured in England. The doll is designed with an integral, all-in-one body made from a blue-ground fabric featuring a repeating printed pattern of various animals and toys, including teddy bears, cats, rabbits, and pandas, interspersed with the text WENDY BOSTON, PLAYSAFE, TOYS, and PLAYSAFE TOYS. The doll has black plush synthetic hair and printed facial features with large circular eyes and a red smile. A white fabric manufacturer label is stitched into the seam of the left foot, printed with WENDY BOSTON, Wash in luke-warm suds, and made in England.

Condition report:
The doll is in vintage, played-with condition. There is noticeable scuffing and wear to the printed facial features. The blue-ground fabric of the body exhibits general fading and light soiling. The manufacturer label on the foot is frayed and shows wear.
