Description
A contemporary British studio pottery figurine titled Growler the Cat, designed by Lorna Bailey. The piece is constructed from glazed ceramic and features a highly stylized, cartoonish form characteristic of the artist’s work. The cat is modelled with an oversized head, heavy-lidded eyes, a prominent red nose, and a wide, mischievous grin displaying individual teeth. The decoration comprises a high-gloss black glaze with painterly lime green patches on the head, ears, and flanks. The paws and the tip of the tail are finished in white. A handwritten Lorna Bailey signature is located on the lower reverse of the figurine over a white slip area.

Condition report:
The figurine is in excellent condition. There are no visible chips, cracks, crazing, or signs of restoration. The glossy glaze remains vibrant and intact across the entire surface.
