Description
A Lorna Bailey pottery figurine of Spike the Pelican. The piece is designed as a stylised avian bust featuring a bold yellow beak with a black tip and large yellow eyes with black slit pupils. The head and base are decorated with a vibrant red and dark brown feathered pattern under a high-gloss glaze. The underside bears the hand-painted signature Lorna Bailey and the initials WK.

Condition report:
The figurine is in very good overall condition with no visible chips, cracks, or signs of restoration. The glaze is bright and intact with a high gloss. The unglazed rim of the base shows minor shelf wear.
