Description
Large decorative nutcracker figure depicting a king in formal regalia. The figure is constructed from painted wood and features a tall gold-toned crown embellished with blue cabochon jewels. The face is detailed with painted blue eyes, a black moustache, and a white synthetic fur beard and hair. The tunic is finished in a metallic red and navy blue palette, accented with gold-toned trim and inset multicoloured synthetic jewels. The figure holds a separate gold-toned sceptre in the left hand. The mechanism consists of a traditional rear-mounted wooden lever that operates the jaw. The figure stands on a square gold-toned base.

Condition report:
Good condition. There is minor paint rubbing and scuffing, primarily visible on the edges of the gold-painted base and the black boots. The synthetic hair and beard are somewhat matted and dusty. All major components, including the crown jewels and sceptre, are present. The jaw mechanism is operational.
