Lot 172:
Description
Two Silver solitaire-style rings featuring colourless stones set in white metal. The first ring is set with a round brilliant-cut centre stone in a four-prong setting, with several small round brilliant-cut stones channel-set into the shoulders. The second ring features a square-cut centre stone, likely a princess or radiant cut, in an elevated four-prong corner setting on a thin, rounded wire-style band. Stamped marks are visible on the interior of both shanks, though these are too blurred to be legibly transcribed. The stones have not been professionally tested for mineral composition.
Approximate internal diameter 18mm to 20mm.
Condition report:
Both rings show signs of wear consistent with regular use, including surface scratching and scuffs to the metal. The band of the square-set ring shows minor deformation from its original circular shape. Prong settings appear secure..
