Description
An assortment of gemstone pendants and a loose cabochon of various materials and shapes. The lot includes a teardrop-shaped pendant that appears to be translucent light pink banded agate or chalcedony with a silver-toned metal bail; a teardrop-shaped pendant of man-made goldstone (aventurine glass) featuring characteristic copper-coloured inclusions and a wire-wrapped bail; an irregular rhombus-shaped specimen that appears to be boulder opal in a dark brown ironstone matrix displaying a patch of blue and white play-of-colour; a small oval pendant of tan and beige banded stone, appearing to be jasper or chalcedony, fitted with a gold-toned jump ring; and a large unmounted oval cabochon that appears to be reddish-orange carnelian with subtle internal banding and swirls. No hallmarks or maker’s marks are visible on any of the stones or metal components.
Condition report:
The items generally appear to be in good condition with a high-polished finish across all pieces. There is minor surface wear and light scuffing consistent with handling, particularly visible on the carnelian and jasper pieces. The boulder opal specimen exhibits natural surface pits and an irregular form inherent to the host ironstone matrix.
