Description
An assortment of jewellery items comprising necklaces and a brooch. The selection includes a white metal chain necklace featuring flat links with an incised Greek key meander pattern, alternating with polished rectangular links and fitted with a lobster claw clasp. Included is an oval brooch-pendant set with a large carnelian banded agate cabochon showing translucent orange, red, and white banding, held in a yellow metal bezel with a decorative scalloped edge; the reverse is fitted with a hinged pin and safety catch and a small suspension loop. The lot also features a long yellow metal mesh foxtail style chain and a fine link necklace with circular coin-form pendants. Metal content is untested.
Greek key necklace length: Approximately 45cm to 50cm
Agate brooch dimensions: Approximately 40mm by 32mm
Mesh chain length: Approximately 60cm to 75cm.
Condition report:
The collection is in good overall condition. The banded agate cabochon is secure and free from visible cracks or chips. Metal surfaces exhibit light surface scratching and minor tarnish consistent with use. Some tangling and kinking is present to the chains.
